TBR Engineering which started through Toledo Basement Repair, was founded when the owner, Kevin Oberhouse, recognized the demand for innovative products across various fields where he holds expertise – Foundations, Framing, Radon, Roofing, and Carpentry. Motivated by his passion for engineering, he established this business segment.

Kevin and his wife, Dawn, have four children. Kevin’s parents invited more than 100 foster children into their home throughout his life. With that background, he has empathy and the need to help others and is always fair in his business dealings.

Kevin has a degree in civil engineering and went on to get an MBA as well as multiple other certifications in structural systems, egress systems, air quality, commercial and residential roofing, among many others.

As a local family-owned business, Toledo Basement Repair doesn’t sell one-size-fits-all systems. Over the years, Toledo Basement Repair has worked closely with registered professional engineers to assess and determine the best approach for foundation repair. The company is able to produce and provide a wide variety of basement waterproofing and foundation repair services throughout northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan.
